Terri Lydiard an experienced BusinessTerri Lydiard Analyst with an extensive range of business and technical skills gained from working within the IT sector for over 30 years.  Her key strengths lie within the business analysis discipline providing shaping, structuring and challenge during the early stages of projects through to delivery of detailed specifications across complex programmes of work.

 Terri has experience of variety of industry sectors, including Banking, Insurance, Distribution, and Defence. Her project work has covered multi-channel banking, insurance product launches, customer services simplification, workflow introduction, stock control, and merger and acquisitions.

She is adept at moving between domains and can apply a wide variety of analysis techniques, offering alternative insights to projects. She adopts a pragmatic approach to analysis, shaping, structuring and challenging requirements to deliver a robust solution within the constraints of cost/time, available skills, business and technology landscapes.

Terri was an Associate Lecturer within the Open University for over 12 years, tutoring the User Interface Design and Evaluation course, and Managing Software Requirements course at post-graduate level. Currently she is an oral examiner for both the BCS Diploma in Business Analysis and IS Consultancy.

Terri is passionate about promoting the Business Analysis Profession, and in developing BA capability. She has been involved in initiatives in a number of companies to help drive this and is a founder member of the Scottish Chapter of the IIBA. Terri is also a regular presenter at the BA Conference Europe.
